I would put her above all of the so called Diva's of today. She has passion and emotion when singing her songs. My only regret is not seeing her in concert. I hope my children will find her music as enjoyable as I have over the years.
Her music brings back many great memories. That one song makes this CD a must have. Everything Jennifer does is super My best friend made a wonderful CD for me in which included several Jennifer Rush songs.

This album is pure eighties heaven! I grew up on this album, with my mum playing it all the time and it has become ingrained in my consciousness. This album is synthesizer heavy as you would expect from this era and the songs are catchy as anything. Well worth a try.

Every song on this album could've been released as a single. Songs back then were arranged better and had a memorable melody or chorus and her compositions are a testament to that. Some artists no matter how gifted, will do better commercially outside of the U. Jennifer Rush is a remarkably consistent artist. Rarely does she record any material that is subpar, and all of her discs are worthwhile.
Under Rick Nowels' guidance, she records his sweeping "Vision of You. This disc also includes what is probably my favorite Jennifer song, "Never Say Never. It's the kind of song you sing along with at the top of your lungs in the car -- it's simply pure fun.
If you want to start exploring Jennifer's large back catalog, you can't go wrong if you begin here. Be warned, though: This will just make you want to buy more albums.

But this is all to the good - and what a voice it is. Occasionally sounding a bit like Annie Lennox or Stephanie Mills, depending on the song, but really Jennifer Rush gives a rush of emotion to the listener that is something to discover.
I bought it having Sidekick - Jennifer Rush - Heart Over Mind (Vinyl The Power of Love on YouTube, and realising that it had a feeling I had always loved, and still do. It is placed last on the album, and is a kind of pop perfection where everything is just right.
But the other songs are by no means a let-down and the whole Sidekick - Jennifer Rush - Heart Over Mind (Vinyl is very enjoyable and makes you feel more relaxed instantly! My first Jennifer Rush album, bought so that I could listen to the title track whenever I wanted. I had not consciously heard the rest of the CD before, but am pleased with the music. From the first beat of Madonna's Eyes, I knew I was gonna like this album - I remember listening to this album at a friends house around and thought I must get it - In I finally got and it's a cracking album - each track has it's own sing along melody! I have previously owned this album for a Sidekick - Jennifer Rush - Heart Over Mind (Vinyl few years and somehow I'd managed to lose it a while ago. This is to replace it and it is as good as I remembered. Not like the thin and shouty angst ridden vocals that seem to be the current fashion on many of the current crop of female artists. The songs are straightforward and suit her voice. Go on give it a try. Just classic 80s. Great to hear all these songs again. Brilliant thankyou as a great fan of jennifer rush love this album.
